1. Conditions of sale
In order to create a contract between you and us, please follow the simple on screen instructions taking you through the process of placing an order on the website. To place an order for the products select "Go to Checkout", "Confirm Order details" page, "Confirm my Order". In doing this you offer to buy the Goods at the prices indicated as well as any applicable delivery charges. We will send an automated order acknowledgement email to you, listing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is merely an acknowledgement of your order and not an acceptance or confirmation of your order by Beg Bicycles.
The acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch of the products unless we have notified you that we have not accept your order or you have cancelled it. Once we have accepted your order it becomes binding, subject to your rights of cancellation. Non-acceptance of an order by us will occur in circumstances including we identify a pricing or product description error; the ordered product is out of stock or unavailable; or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.

We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. The product price, as displayed, is inclusive of UK VAT at the appropriate rate.

3. Customs
If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes which customers will need to pay on receipt of the shipment. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. These rules vary by country and your local government determines duty and customs charges, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.

4. Cancellations
You have the right to cancel your order at any time before you receive the products you ordered, by contacting us on +44 1223 655 222 or 202. If these products have already been assigned or dispatched when you contact us, you may return them within 14 days of receipt of delivery to receive a full refund.

5. Returns and Exchanges including faulty goods
If you are in any way unhappy with your goods you may send them back for an exchange or a full refund.
Items you need to return for refund or exchange will be accepted within our generous 14-day returns period of receipt of the goods. The goods must be returned unused, including bicycles, with all the parts, original tags and enclosures intact. For bicycles, we charge a re-stocking fee of 10% of the purchase price.

We request that you please contact our customer services team before returning any goods.

Items returned outside that period will only be refunded if the return has been authorised by our customer service team. Please note that your statutory rights are not affected.

We are not responsible for return postage unless in exceptional circumstance that an item is faulty, has been mis-described or your order delivered is incorrect. When you return goods, please retain proof of posting from your shipper. Without this we cannot be responsible for any items that fail to reach us.

We aim to process all returns within 48 hours of reaching us and will email or write to confirm when this has been done. Sometimes the limitations of the banking system mean that the refund may take a further few days to show up on your card statement.

If we consider that the product is faulty we will rectify the problem or offer a full refund and in this instance you will not be charged for the return postage. If the returned item is found not to be faulty, the items will be returned to you without refund and you will incur the return postage costs. It is vital that you contact us within 48 hours. Please sign for your goods as 'UNCHECKED'. Failure to do so will invalidate any claims for transit damage.

If you find your goods arrive damaged, please email us immediately and email photographs of the packaging and contents within 7 days of receipt. We can not make insurance claims after this period.

Damage claims will be dealt with on a case by case basis and we will do our very best to rectify any problems as quickly as possible. For minor damage, replacement parts will be sent before a product swap. If the damage is substantial, and you have followed the procedure above, we will arrange for collection and either a replacement (subject to availability) or a full refund will be provided.

6. Cancellation and refund of bespoke or custom-made products
We are not able to cancel orders or accept returns on any made-to-order items unless they are faulty or we have not followed your specification. Because of the bespoke nature of these products we would not be able to resell items made to a particular specification.

If you have any questions about your bespoke or custom-made item, please contact us on 01223 655222 or 202 before placing your order.
